Preferred Qualifications
Background in payments, digital wallets, financial services, or commerce platforms
Familiarity with payment network ecosystems (card networks, issuers, acquirers, tokenization)
Experience at the intersection of hardware, software, and services
Minimum Qualifications
Proven ability to operate independently on ambiguous, high-impact problems with minimal direction
Exceptional learning velocity - you've repeatedly entered unfamiliar technical domains and become effective faster than expected
Technical fluency - you can read an architecture diagram, understand engineering tradeoffs, and earn credibility with engineers
Strong analytical rigor - comfortable with data, systems thinking, and quantitative reasoning; you build your own models and frameworks rather than waiting for them
Experience working directly within or embedded alongside engineering organizations and generated technical artifacts (specifications, designs, architectures)
Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving decisions across organizational boundaries
Excellent written and verbal communication; you distill complexity, not add to it
12+ years in strategy, product, consulting, technical program management, software engineering, or similar roles demanding both strategic depth and execution

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $171,600 and $302,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
