SAP Finance Functional Analyst

is part of Apple's Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization. We build systems that support customer ordering, fulfillment, service and enterprise accounting for Apple's business units. We work with multiple Apple business functions including Retail, Operations, Services, AppleCare and Finance.

Description
We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join our SAP Finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical teams in multiple locations and time zones. The role requires delivery of complex enterprise solutions in a highly customized landscape and holds responsibility for all aspects of the project including :

• Define system architecture, collaborate with stakeholders from Business and application teams (internal and external) across all project phases - including cutover, release support, and closure/ handover to the SAP production team

• Review business requirements and perform functional gap analysis to define project scope, deliverables, resources, timeline, dependencies and risk mitigation plan.

• Collaborate in technical design and integrations with external partners and internal applications, utilising multiple frameworks, platforms and protocols

• Present proposed solution for design reviews and business playbacks.

• Write functional specifications, and collaborate with development teams and implement functional validations.

• Ensure comprehensive testing during all test cycles like Unit Test, Integration Test across multiple systems (internal and external), User Acceptance Test, Performance Test and Regression Test

• Status monitoring and reporting within the team and senior management

Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to DevSecOps methodologies, Cloud Application development (SAP Cloud Platform / BTP or Others) etc.

Exposure to automation and optimization of finance processes and analytics, demonstrating AI/ ML/ GenAI based solutions

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or equivalent experience or Master's Degree from accredited university in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Accounting / Finance

5 to 8 years of demonstrable experience in system design, configurations and customizations of S/4 HANA SAP Finance full life cycle implementation

Proven expertise in some or all core S4 finance modules like GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, etc

Conversant in building integrated solutions using different technologies/ framework

Exposure working as System Architect/ Lead role on medium to large-sized SAP projects involving multiple systems integration and automation

Problem solver backed up with strong quantitative and diligent skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
