Responsibilities
Have a deep knowledge of Apple, its products, its business prioritization to help the team deliver world-class, locally resonant communications on social media platforms.
Lead the end-to-end content development process for China's social platforms-from planning and ideation through design, production, and final implementation. This includes managing multiple content workflows simultaneously, setting clear expectations with cross-functional teams, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time, on brand, and to the highest standard.
Collaborate with Apple internal teams, external agencies and platform partners closely and push for content innovation for social media programs, with the goal of maximizing Apple's impact and influence in the social media landscape.
Minimum Qualifications
Bilingual in Chinese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7+ years of hands-on experience in content planning and management, influencer strategy, and social media marketing within China-ideally within a digital agency or international brand.
Deep expertise in Douyin and other short-form video platforms such as Xiaohongshu (RED), with strong knowledge of platform algorithms, user behavior, and content formats.
Demonstrated success in KOL/KOC collaborations across multiple verticals (lifestyle, tech, culture).
Strong storytelling ability with a strategic mindset tailored to Gen Z sensibilities and trends.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor or above degrees in communications, marketing, business administration, new media, photography & film, etc.
Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate creative ideas and strategies across a global organization.
Organized, fast-paced, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional creative and production teams.
Desire to deliver at an outstanding level with a particular passion for crafting work that is thoughtful, relevant, accurate, clear and inspiring.
Ability to make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
Uses a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses.
