    Position summary

    ships and partners across multiple Engineering and Product leads to drive a technical roadmap of cross-functional initiatives (portfolio) through delivery, inclusive of timelines, planning, requirements, and dependencies.

    Description

    As a Senior Engineering Program Manager (EPM), you will: - Lead the end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives across the Ad Platforms Engineering organization, optimizing processes and ensuring timely delivery of critical projects. - Collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align on technical roadmaps that reflect both product and engineering priorities. - Be responsible for project planning, delivery, work breakdowns, prioritization, and day-to-day project management using suitable methodologies needed to meet timelines and results. - Drive strategic conversations with leadership to develop and track a technology roadmap that encompasses technical debt assessment, prioritization, and project sequencing. - Communicate status updates regularly to Ad Platforms' executive leadership, ensuring clear insight into project achievements, challenges, and dependencies. - Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external partner teams, approaching all interactions with empathy, understanding, and a focus on balancing competing priorities and deadlines.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 8+ years of demonstrated ability managing complex, cross-functional projects in a large engineering organization accountable for the development and deployment of applications and services at Apple scale.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence at all levels,including executive leadership.

    • Strong desire to learn, skills for problem-solving, and the ability to make sophisticated trade-offs.

    • Self-motivated, independent, and proactive; demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities; can quickly (real-time) triage, prioritize, and lead cross-functional teams under pressure.

    • Proven technical proficiency, you quickly learn key technologies related to your initiatives and beyond.

    • Strong familiarity with long lead time projects, phase management, oversight and communication, and leadership through the entire project lifecycle.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience leading engineering programs within advertising technology or related industries.

    • Proficiency in cloud computing technologies, containerization, and scalable architectures.

    • Familiarity with data pipelines, Big Data platforms, and analytics-driven decision-making.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage projects involving privacy and security considerations.

    • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies.

    • Expertise in balancing multiple complex initiatives with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
