Role Overview:
Applied Materials is seeking an individual for Revenue Operations (Contract Manager) to join the Applied Global Services (AGS) organization. This role supports service contract revenue operations, including quoting, deal review, booking, billing support, and contract lifecycle management. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Contract Management, Sales Operations, or Commercial Operations who enjoy cross‑functional collaboration and working with complex commercial agreements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the end‑to‑end service contract lifecycle, from opportunity creation and quoting through booking, billing support, and post‑booking contract maintenance
Create, review, and process service contract quotes, ensuring compliance with financial, legal, and audit requirements
Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, Pricing, and Field Operations to support deal structuring and resolve non‑standard contract scenarios
Interpret and apply contract terms, pricing structures, entitlements, and service scope changes
Maintain active service contracts, including amendments, scope updates, date changes, and idling requests
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and participating in audit walkthroughs
Analyze reports and operational data to support forecast accuracy and revenue insights
Contribute to process improvement initiatives, system testing, and documentation
What Success Looks Like
High‑quality, audit‑compliant service contracts processed accurately and on time
Strong partnerships with Sales and internal stakeholders
Confident ownership of complex or non‑standard contract scenarios
Continuous improvement of revenue operations processes and data quality
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree with 4-7 years of experience in:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables
Experience working in ERP and CRM systems (SAP strongly preferred)
Ability to interpret contracts and understand basic legal and commercial terms
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time‑management skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting service contracts or recurring revenue models
Knowledge of Tableau or reporting/analytics tools
Experience in a global or matrixed organization

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
