We are looking for a highly talented engineer to join our Global Product Support (GPS) team.
Our team's responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining expert‑level knowledge of our product line
Leading complex and systematic escalations together with R&D
Delivering knowledge and methodologies from PDC to Applied Materials customer engineers worldwide, ensuring improved tool health, performance, and stability
Representing the voice of the field in all R&D discussions and activities
Developing new procedures and Best Known Methods (BKMs) to support new products
Creating and maintaining procedures for installation, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance

Provides expert-level support for semiconductor metrology tools
Works closely with R&D owners on assigned technical projects
Acts as an intermediary between customers and development teams by providing technical support, documentation, and expertise to field engineers troubleshooting
What you'll be doing?
Create and maintain hardware and service procedures for field use
Participate in R&D development cycles and ensure all field aspects and serviceability requirements are incorporated
Solve technical problems using established procedures, engineering judgment, and accumulated field experience
Analyze information and apply best-known practices to make decisions and support escalations
What you should have?
B. Sc. in Electrical /Mecanical other relevent technology field
0-2 years of experience
Strong conceptual knowledge of engineering theories, practices, and procedures within your discipline
Ability to apply general business understanding from prior experience or education
Strong interpersonal skills: clear communication, asking questions, validating understanding
A proactive, dedicated approach; team player; motivated to expand technical knowledge and drive data‑based decisions
Ability to work within standardized procedures to meet deadlines and team objectives
