    The Manager of Business Systems - Demand Planning & Analytics is a manager-level position who has experience in supporting and implementing applications that enable S&OP Demand processes, as well as S&OE. This position will be accountable for day-to-day support and on-going training to drive continuous improvement of all systems that enable the Global S&OP Program for the entire planning horizon. This position is the key interface with Regional users to ensure people readiness across the organisation.

    Mission of Role

    The Manager of Business Systems - Demand Planning & Analytics will collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Global S&OP CoE/BPO, S&OP Leadership, & Supply Chain Leadership to execute the implementation plan of the business transformation program specific to applications supporting S&OP. This position will have shared goals, business metrics and KPIs with the S&OP Leadership in all regions. These goals, business metrics and KPIs will be defined in the agreed-to Global S&OP Process transformation roadmap.

    In addition, this position must be knowledgeable in the following:

    Demand

    • Key Marketing & Commercial Sales drivers that impact demand planning

    • Innovation management

    • Integrated reconciliation specific to Risks & Opportunities determined in the Demand Review

    This position will report to the Sr. Mgr, Global S&OP Demand & Analytics CoE. This position will work directly with the BU S&OP Leaders in each region on the management of the projects defined in the Global S&OP Process transformation roadmap as well as the assessment of continuous improvement opportunities.

    Role Responsibilities

    Global S&OP Transformation Roadmap: Support the multi-year transformation roadmap in collaboration with S&OP Leadership in the regions. Incorporate the feedback from the regions in support of building capability globally. The roadmap will encompass cross-functional projects that cover:

    • Process improvements based on insights from KPIs and external best practices
      Systems functionality driven by the process design and knowledge of advancements in digital technology
    • Organization change management defining new ways of working and talent development & training based on the implementation of process and system improvements
    • Implementation Management & Execution: Collaborating with S&OP leadership in the regions to manage the implementation of business applications that enable the S&OP process defined in the aforementioned roadmap. Document changes and upgrades to systems, processes, and / or the global model.
    • Global Capability Building: Develop, coordinate, and conduct all initial and on-going training materials for applications that support S&OP. Monitor system usage to identify knowledge gaps and deliver content on a re-occurring basis. Lead day-to-day support for all "How-To" requests.
    • S&OP Data & Analytics: Collaborate with BU S&OP Leaders, CoE Leaders, and IT in the development of system & analytics capabilities. Work directly with IT to diagnose, correct, & test integration and/or data issues concerning the S&OP process. Monitor use of reports and metrics implemented to support the S&OP process - ensuring global consistency. Lead data cleansing, validation, and problem solving.
    • Business Systems Support: Monitor user adoption, understanding, and continuous improvement to ensure optimal use of planning systems in support of the S&OP process. Track issues through to resolution and serve as primary contact between CoE and IT support. Maintain all application documentation (test cases, Design Document, Configuration Document).
    • Continuous Improvement: Leveraging business metrics and KPIs to define improvement opportunities. Support the development of the business case required for project approval, which will include IT and resource investments. Translate business needs into technical requirements.
    • People Management: Support the talent assessment and development of business users in S&OP applications. Foster strong engagement by proactively embracing our Beam Suntory leadership behaviors and our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5+ years of demonstrated operational performance in supporting software applications within the S&OP Process for a major Business Unit for a CPG or Spirits company

    • Experience with SAP ECC and SAP APO, SAP IBP preferred

    • Strong knowledge in Digital Technology

    • Strong knowledge in Demand/Supply Planning best practices & proven application of these practices

    • Demonstrated focus on team goals vs individual accomplishments - "we over me"

    • Demonstrated experience in developing cross-functional training material

    • Self-motivated with technical skills to diagnose, correct, and test software and/or data issues with IT

    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    • Highly collaborative and development of business partnerships

    • Highly effective conflict resolution

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Exceptional facilitation skills

    • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel

    • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science / Engineering preferred
