Responsibilities include:
Executing on internal processes and procedures in support of a wide variety of equity and debt capital markets transactions
Interpreting and providing guidance on existing agreements and obligations
Providing strategic legal advice on complex and novel issues, including for Capital One's Corporate Treasury group
Supervising process-oriented work of other legal professionals
Managing and coordinating outside counsel
Basic Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing of at least one state bar
At least 3 years of experience in a law firm, in-house legal department or a combination
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in a law firm, in-house legal department or a combination
Familiarity with capital markets transactions, securities documentation and due diligence
