In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas:

  • You'll be responsible to make technology investments decision by assessing opportunities for reusing Enterprise solutions or for and building new ones with extensibility & enterprise scalability in mind

• Integrated Problem Solving

  • Develop and champion a bold vision that drives meaningful outcomes by embracing the art of the possible
  • Build frameworks for complex decision making that enable effective debate and accelerate getting to the right answer

  • You'll influence a broad set of senior executives across the enterprise and your organization who are stakeholders or delivery partner to successfully deliver on your portfolio/product vision

  • You'll establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, informed by customer and business needs, to gain alignment, secure resources and overcome impediments

  • You'll attract, grow, empower, and inspire top product talent as they develop and deliver on their local product strategy

As part of the People Data and Platforms role, you will:

• Lead the data and platform strategy for Enterprise HR; you'll take a broad view of both external, market-leading data, analytics, and HRIS platforms and Capital One's enterprise HR priorities to shape an inspiring multi-year vision and roadmap for our people data and platforms

• Shape our strategy around data governance, ensuring a consistently up-to-date view of what is needed to minimize risk in an ever-changing regulatory and cybersecurity environment

• Lead teams of world-class product managers who will continually raise the bar on what good looks like across product strategy and roadmap development, design, documentation, testing, and monitoring

• Partner with a broad range of stakeholders across business, technology, cyber, risk, and legal to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers while maintaining a holistic view of tradeoffs and risks

• Collaborate with peers leading data and platform initiative across the enterprise to ensuring continual knowledge sharing and feedback loops to drive innovation and minimize arbitrary uniqueness

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience

• At least 8 years of experience in digital product management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

• MBA or Master's degree

• 5+ years of experience in Agile product management

• 5+ years of experience in HR and talent data or platforms

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $264,300 - $301,700 for Sr. Dir, Product Management

New York, NY: $288,400 - $329,100 for Sr. Dir, Product Management

Richmond, VA: $240,300 - $274,300 for Sr. Dir, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
