We also recognize that many other businesses are facing similar data management needs as they accelerate their cloud and data journeys, and are exploring how best to bring some of the tools to the market.

    About the role - Senior Lead Software Engineer

    As a Senior Lead Software Engineer, you will:

    • Go deep into our product and engineering solutions with the ability to learn quickly and lead innovative solutions to complex technical problems

    • Champion the adoption of enterprise tech standards and architecture patterns. Advocate for open source, and internal re-use while maintaining knowledge on industry innovations, trends and practices to curate a continual stream of incubated projects and create rapid product prototypes

    • Continuously improve the engineering culture by being engaged in recruitment and participating in community activities, conducting training, authoring blog posts, filing patents etc. Participate in technology events to support brand awareness of the organization and to attract top talent.

    • Be the guiding force for stakeholders in design and architecture discussions, helping the engineering teams make key technology choices, and staying associated with the use case through its development lifecycle

    • Effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders across the enterprise at all levels of the organization. Proven collaborator and have the ability to build very strong partnerships with others to gain the trust and confidence of those around them, from hands on engineers to executives

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field

    • Atleast 10 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply)

    • Atleast 5 years of experience in building software using at least 1 of the following: Golang, Java, Python, React (TypeScript), Rust, C++

    • Atleast 3 years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

    • Atleast 1 year of experience with Big Data, Data Security, Data Management, Governance and Controls

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field

    • Atleast 12 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply)

    • Experience in building a product from the ground up

    • History of building patent worthy solutions

    • Atleast 5 years of experience in distributed microservices

    • Atleast 7 years of experience in building software using at least 2 of the following: Golang, Java, Python, React (TypeScript), Rust, C++

    • Atleast 4 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service

    • Atleast 3 years of experience with Big Data, Data Security, Data Management, Governance and Controls

    • Atleast 2 years of experience in Agile practices
