    Position summary

    mestic and international contracts involving the inbound and outbound movement of physical commodities, including grains, soybean meal, and oilseeds.

    Customer Service responsibilities include coordinating short‑ and medium‑term delivery schedules, managing contract nominations, and overseeing the end‑to‑end contract execution process.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Develop and maintain systems and strategic relationships that support customer demand forecasts, as well as databases related to shipments and inventory management.

    • Execute commodity contract flows across multiple products.

    • Issue contractual notices, handle documentary instructions, and process shipping documents for payment and cargo release in line with contractual terms and agreed timelines.

    • Manage contract finalization for quantity, quality, reporting, and month‑end processes.

    • Communicate customer delivery requirements and supply availability to pipeline planners to support customer satisfaction at optimal cost.

    • Process contract applications and accruals in inventory systems and SAP for accounting and month‑end activities.

    • Verify and record documents in accordance with legal and fiscal requirements.

    • Provide support to other departments, including Trading, Sourcing, Legal, and Finance, as needed.

    • Apply a comprehensive understanding of supply chain practices to collect and validate short‑ to medium‑term S&OP demand and capacity outlooks using inputs such as sales orders, forecasts, contract positions, inventory levels, and information from commercial teams.

    • Review contract balances regularly and decide-together with the commercial team-on closure or overrun to minimize or adjust risk positions.

    • Monitor stock levels, including sealing and segregation activities.

    • Follow up on inbound quantities, confirm quantity and quality with suppliers, prepare calculations, verify invoices and annexes, justify payment amounts, and manage the payment process.

    • Understand and take action on change‑management initiatives.

    • Act as a key contributor to improvement projects requiring in‑depth knowledge of customer service practices.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

    • Demonstrated work experience in one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics or Order Management.

    • Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel) and proficiency in software platforms and data systems

    • Experience in customer‑facing roles.

    • Solid understanding of operational and process workflows

    • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken

    • Strong interest in digital tools (including AI solutions), continuous improvement, and project‑management initiatives.

    • Experience working in a process‑driven environment.

    • Strong problem‑solving abilities and collaborative team mindset.

    Preferred qualifications

    • Knowledge of Incoterms and their application in international trade.

    • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.

    • Background or familiarity with the food, feed, or broader agriculture sector.
