    The Cutover Lead owns end-to-end cutover planning, execution, and governance for global ERP, Functions, MADJVs, and digital transformation initiatives. This role drives seamless legacy-to-new system transitions, collaborating with technical, data, security, and business teams to minimize operational disruption, ensure continuity, and mitigate risks- delivering on-time, high-quality go-lives. With minimal supervision, the Cutover Lead develops cutover strategies and workplans for mock data loads (SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsal) and production data loads. Facilitates the execution on of the plans and manages status updates during data loads. Partner with business cut over lead to facilitate and validate location/site readiness, and contribute cutover insights (including rollback plans if applicable) to go/no-go decision gates.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Develop and own end-to-end cutover strategies, work plans (including work plans for pre blackout and blackout, rollback protocols) aligned with project goals and Cargill standards.

    • Lead cross-functional cutover workshops, aligning stakeholders (IT, business, technical, data, security team) on roles, timelines, and dependencies.

    • Partner with Technical Cutover (TCO) teams to align technical system readiness (e.g., environment setup, data migration on support) with business cutover needs.

    • Orchestrate cutover execution on (SIT, UAT, dress rehearsals, production on go-lives), monitor progress in real time, and resolve escalated issues to keep activities on track.

    • Conduct risk assessments for cutover activities , identify mitigation measures, and lead contingency planning to address potential disruptions.

    • Own cutover governance: track deliverables, provide status updates to project leadership, and ensure adherence to global ERP methodology cutover practice.

    • Document cutover lessons learned, refine project cutover work plans, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the cutover practice at global ERP methodology side.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

    • 5+ years of experience in SAP implementation on projects, with a focus on cutover deliveries.

    • Proven track record of leading end-to-end cutover execution for complex, global projects with cross-functional stakeholder alignment. Strong expertise in cutover planning methodologies, risk management, and contingency planning.

    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills-able to collaborate effectively with technical, business, and project leadership teams.

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

    • Familiarity with cutover tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) and SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., Activate) is a plus.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • PMP (Project Management Professional) or relevant certification (e.g., SAP certifications).

    • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization (manufacturing/agribusiness industry experience, is advantageous).

    • Knowledge of data migration processes and technical cutover workflows.
