ob Purpose and Impact**
The Maintenance and Reliability Engineer will execute continuous improvements related to maintenance and reliability activities resulting in increased uptime, production rates and reduced maintenance costs by correct application of strategies. In this role, you will develop and maintain a data driven reliability improvement project portfolio and implement reliability improvement plans through collaboration with the site leadership team. You will support capital excellence efforts through detailed reviews of proposed equipment installations, implementation of equipment maintenance strategies and use of equipment specifications.
Key Accountabilities
Implement, monitor and maintain best practices to improve operational effectiveness through continuous improvement and reliability excellence methods and tools.
Develop and implement reliability program for new green field Project.
Accountable for preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance optimization for value added resource utilization while decreasing emergency down time from asset failure.
Monitor capitalized repair and replacement projects, mitigate complex risk issues and removes barriers to ensure completion of milestones within budget.
Complete testing and analysis on failures, proposing changes in design or maintenance strategies to improve system and or process reliability.
Implement, monitor and mentor reliability elements of manufacturing excellence and be accountable for execution of maintenance and reliability deliverables within all capital projects.
Provide support for continuous improvement projects aligned to the operational and maintenance excellence vision and collaborate with teams to identify issues and incorporate best practices.
Perform technical reviews of complex projects and collaborate with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications.
Partner with and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (in Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience
Knowledge and experience using computer maintenance management systems
Knowledge in maintenance process management
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
Certified maintenance and reliability professional (CMRP)
Training and knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies
Experience and training with SAP
Experience with maintenance budget preparation, Turnaround planning and scheduling
