Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Account Manager will focus on our largest and complex national customers. In this role, you will handle critical, complex fresh (fast-paced) products that require excellent client relationship skills to maintain competitive positioning.
Key Accountabilities
Develop account plans to establish and maintain account relationships and meet personal sales targets.
Develop strong client relationships that provide significant input to planning product, price and service strategies.
Leading cross functional teams to provide value added services to accounts and provide solutions to help grow business.
Provide leadership support in developing new market opportunities.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma/certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (such as Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in the food industry
Previous working experience in PowerBI, Salesforce and SAP.
Availability to travel as need
Possess a valid Canadian full class 5 driver's licence in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Fresh product supply chain experience
Experience in national retail key account sales
Knowledge of case ready, beef and or pork markets
