Role overview
The Account Executive, Emerging will focus on growing CarGurus' customer base in the Canadian market by acquiring new business and building strong relationships with smaller dealerships with 18 or fewer vehicles in inventory. This role is responsible for partnering with Sales Development Representatives and engaging with non-paying customers to consistently drive new monthly acquisition.
What you'll do
Develop new relationships within a book of business through proactive outreach, sales calls, and rapport-building
Identify and close new business opportunities using the full CarGurus product suite
Drive customer acquisition and expand our presence within the Canadian dealer market
Collaborate with SDRs to maximize lead conversion and opportunity identification
Accurately forecast monthly sales to management
Provide valuable feedback to cross-functional teams using strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills
What you'll bring
1+ years of proven inside sales experience with a strong track record of closing deals
Strong sales acumen and organizational skills
High internal motivation and a results-driven mindset
Experience in SaaS or the automotive industry is a plus
Occasional travel is recommended, but not required
