We are automating a dealer's ability to buy, sell, and trade cars. By bringing these two companies together, we are giving consumers and dealers alike the power to reach their destination through a full suite of digital transaction platforms. With ~14,000 dealerships in the CarOffer network, we make it easy for our dealer customers to automate inventory, connect with the right buyers, and ultimately grow their profitability.

    This is a hybrid position based out of our Addison, TX office.

    Role overview

    CarOffer, a CarGurus company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Revenue Analyst to join our analytics team and serve our revenue organization. The Senior Revenue Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive revenue optimization strategies across our Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Customer Success departments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by leveraging data-driven approaches to enhance revenue performance, while fostering a culture of high collaboration within a team structure.

    What you'll do

    Revenue Analysis:

    • Sales - Analyze Sales team performance by performance managers and account executives, focusing on key metrics such as sales targets, conversion rates, and revenue generated.

    • Marketing - Analyze marketing campaign efficiency ROI and revenue attribution, identifying the impact of marketing initiatives on revenue generation.

    • Customer Success- Analyze customer success metrics including retention rates, customer support interactions, customer experience feedback, and onboarding effectiveness.

    • Sales Enablement - Analyze sales enablement initiatives such as sales training effectiveness, sales strategy alignment, and pricing optimization.

    Collaboration with BI and Data Engineering:

    • Collaborate with Data Engineering to design enriched data sets for analysis.

    • Work closely with Business Intelligence (BI) to ensure efficient and optimized reporting for revenue stakeholders.

    Partnering with FP&A and Product Teams:

    • Work collaboratively with Product teams to analyze customer feedback, market trends, and product performance data to inform revenue strategy decisions.

    • Partner with FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) teams to ensure alignment between revenue forecasts, financial planning, and budgeting processes.

    • Provide recommendations for pricing adjustments, promotional campaigns, and sales incentives based on data-driven insights.

    • Proactively identify risks and opportunities related to revenue performance and develop mitigation strategies.

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market changes to inform revenue strategy decisions.

    What you'll bring

    • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

    • 3 years of experience in a data-focused analyst role. Preferably revenue analysis, sales operations, or related roles within tech industry

    • Experience with HubSpot CRM or similar customer relationship management systems.

    • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally and driving revenue optimization initiatives.

    • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business priorities.

    • Experience with Netsuite or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (nice to have).
