Responsibilities
Portfolio leadership of all aspects of engineering projects to meet capital plan commitments, manage priorities, and maintain key stakeholders aligned and communicated.
Ensure the engineering project management team understands and meets capital plan commitments, manage priorities, and maintain key stakeholders aligned and communicated.
Ensure team develops and maintains all project documentation including project plans, status reports, issues, risks, costs, schedules, and quality components across project portfolio, and project documentation is well communicated throughout the lifecycle of projects.
Collaborate with cross functional team and business stakeholders to manage project scope decisions, critical financial decisions, and change controls, escalate when necessary.
Manage vendor relationships, performance, and project expectations.
Responsible for leading the planning, justification, and execution of Capital Projects in project portfolio, in conjunction with Director of Engineering Support Services.
Support contract development and execution for all projects in project portfolio in conjunction with Director of Engineering Support Services.
Develop a culture of high performance, lead the professional development of team members and guide engineering colleagues on best practices
Lead change management efforts to continuously improve existing project management processes and better integrate engineering into business unit decision making
Lead capital engineering managers and engineers to meet project and portfolio commitments.
Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline
Master's degree
PMP certification
8+ years of experience managing engineering, maintenance and/or operations related projects (i.e. yields, quality, OEE, automation, facilities, compliance, etc.) in a manufacturing environment
5+ years' experience of developing and managing high performance teams
Travel: 25-50%, visiting wineries, distilleries and vendors
Demonstrated ability to project manage multi-million dollars, complex and multi-phase projects
Strong analytical skills, planning skills, and ability to prioritize work effectively
Proficient in at least 1 of these 4 areas of engineering: Process Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Controls/Automation, or Building Construction
Excellent communications and influencing skills
Results oriented change agent
Problem solver
Preferred Qualifications
Fortune 500 CPG, food and/or beverage industry experience
Lean certification

The salary range for this role is:
$127,500.00 - $211,200.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
