folio. They will coordinate & collaborate on the development & execution of all Canadian marketing & sales executions for our spirits portfolio. They will be responsible for working with both internal & external stakeholders to ensure oversight & smooth execution of our Canadian commercial strategies and tactics. This will include but not be limited to supporting annual planning, managing our marketing spends, supporting NPD launch requirements, reviewing marketing ROI to recommend adjustments, coordinating marketing tools as needed, supporting pricing reviews and conducting ad hoc project management.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Brand Planning & Executions
Collaborate in the development of annual marketing plans by brand & province to ensure alignment between global brand plans & local execution plans
Liaise between international marketing team, external distributors & external vendors to coordinate & execute Canada specific marketing tools as needed
Liaison with International Marketing, external distributor team and agencies as directed to support in building shopper activations and sourcing required assets.
Support in the planning and execution of events as needed alongside internal & external stakeholders
Performance Measures:
Robust critical paths and tracking of budgets
Projects are delivered on time, in full and on budget
High quality customer presentations
Canada specific, high quality marketing tools are provided to distributors and vendors as required
ROI Measured and learnings applied to future activity
Pricing
Leverage our wine pricing process and implement within our spirits processes
Compile pricing submission from our external distributor and internal finance review & VP Sales sign off
Ensure monthly accuracy of internal pricing files vs external sources
Coordinate a quarterly pricing review by brand to ensure we are aligned to internal targets, competitive benchmarks & long term brand goals

Accurate pricing files
Budget Management
Oversee the Canada marketing budget for Spirits to ensure routine monitoring & quarterly true ups are presented to manager & VP Sales
Be accountable for all personal expenditures & ensure spend is inline with the set budgets

Ensure accurate & routine tracking of marketing spends
Ensure monthly submission of all personal expenses on time and in full
Tools / Trackers / Process Improvements
Leverage the existing wine processes, tools & trackers to implement similar routines within the spirits portfolio
Conduct semi-annual reviews to determine optimization opportunities
Performance Measures:
Effective tools & trackers in place for the spirits portfolio
Tools & trackers maintained and continually improved to ensure they are fit for purpose
Demonstrate strong understanding of market & competitor dynamics
Performance Measures:
Minimum 1 day per qtr. in trade
Report on findings & proposed actions developed for each visit
Hospitality
Coordinate spirits hospitality requests between our external distributors/customer and our internal hospitality teams across all properties
Performance Measures:
Hospitality visits completed flawlessly
Positive feedback from customers/ distributors/internal teams

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
Bachelors degree
Proven experience in cross functional project management & execution
Superior attention to detail & accuracy
Must possess excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills. Ability to guide projects from conception to fruition within established timelines and budget is essential.
Preferred
Previous experience working in the spirits/wine/beer market in Canada
Knowledge of wine or spirits and an interest to further expand their knowledge
Proven problem solver with a track record and ability to balance speed, accuracy & impact
