This role requires building relationships with key personnel both within and outside Financial Services to support the accounting of complex initiatives. The Corporate Financial Reporting team is looking for a natural problem-solver who is independent, coachable, detail-oriented, and continually seeking process improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead and perform monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close activities for international financial statements (excluding PP&E) including account reconciliations and working with subledger owners to ensure appropriate accounting according to US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
Perform account reconciliations on various general ledger accounts and use problem solving skills to research and remediate any reconciling differences.
Perform monthly account analysis, research variances, and communicate insights with leadership.
Collaborate with other key international focused Financial Service professionals to create scalable accounting practices and reporting to support continued international expansion.
Evaluate current processes and procedures and recommend changes.
Perform ad-hoc projects, tasks and analysis to help support decisions, resolve issues or support various business needs.
Participate in annual financial statement audits by preparing requested workpapers/schedules.
Partner with CFR accounting policy owners to create and maintain various accounting policies.
Develop relationships across the business to provide financial perspective.
