    Responsibilities

    Pilots are directly and totally responsible for the safe operation of an aircraft. Pilots will take
    all steps necessary to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and foreign regulations.
    • Lead others using company defined Vision, Mission, Values AND Operating Principles as
    guiding protocols
    • Support established organizational structure, protocol, and chain - of - command.
    • Conduct all flights in compliance with Code of Federal Regulations Title 14, State and local
    regulations, the aircraft flight manual, and company policies (this includes foreign operations)
    • Knowledge of all available information concerning the flight, including weather conditions,
    AIRMETS, SIGMETS and any other pertinent information prior to departure
    • D etermine fuel and oxygen requirements for the route to be flown
    • Ensure the crew possesses all necessary dispatch papers, flight information, Jeppesen
    revisions and aircraft documentation
    • Determine the aircraft is operated within weight and balance parameters during all phases of
    aircraft operations
    • C omplete the flight planning and filing of company flight plans
    • Ensure an aircraft post - flight inspection is completed after each aircraft landing/engine
    shutdown
    • Communicate any aircraft defects to maintenance team members in a timely fashion
    • Ensure the crew observes the flight time/duty time limitations as defined in the Flight
    Operations Manual (FOM)
    • Ensure all passengers are briefed in accordance with company requirements outlined in the
    FOM
    • Ensure compliance with customs, immigration and cabotage laws
    • Ensure that all post flight administrative duties, including recording flight times, fuel usage stocking and cleaning aircraft
    • Ensure aircraft security
    • Ensure all assigned crewmembers are thoroughly briefed on the flight prior to departure to
    include aircraft towing for departure in inclement weather, taxi routs and recovery procedures
    • Conduct a post-flight debrief and the completion (at home base) of a post-flight aircraft maintenance status debrief
    • Ensure all expenses are filed and audited monthly
    • Assist and mentor any crew member involved in any phase of upgrade training or qualification
    • Assume any additional duties/responsibilities assigned by the Director of Operations
    • Flight crews for company aircraft will consists of two qualified and current Pilots. Crews are
    allowed to swap seats and duties for any assigned trip at the discretion of the company
    captain when a contract pilot is used. A trip lead will be assigned by the first pilot crewed on
    the itinerary. The trip lead will be responsible and will be the main point of contact for all
    aspects of the assigned trip. This will include: o Status of trip

    • Deviations from the schedule

    • RONs on extended trips

    • Progress of international flights

    • Any maintenance issues during the trip

    • Other duties assigned by Director of Aviation

    Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

    •To be qualified and competitive for Second in Command (SIC), candidates must have a minimum of 1,500 hours total time or 500 turbine and experience operating multi-engine, turbojet airplanes, preferably in the executive air transportation field
    •Meet all regulatory requirements to obtain qualifications in make and model of the company aircraft
    •It is policy that pilots obtain a First-Class Medical Certificate once each calendar year or required by country, however, by FAA regulations, they are only required to maintain a Second-Class Certificate.

    •Hold a valid radio telephone license
    •Must have English proficiency on license

    Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

    • Embraer EBM550 experience preferred

    • Experience in BASC or International Standard for Business Aircraft Operators (IS-BAO) environment

    •M inimum of 3,000 hours total time, including a minimum of 500 hours as PIC Turbine and must have 1,000 or more hours in multi-engine turbine for Captains, preferably in the executive air transportation field. Additionally, Captains must have an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.

    •Have attended an authorized and approved school on the type of aircraft flown in the last twelve calendar months, with a two-month grace period forscheduling. Hold a valid pro card or equivalent from an approved school.
