Responsibilities
Own decisions and sets the direction, vision, design, and strategy in areas of authentication and authorization.
For multiple medium-large systems, responsible for defining requirements, identifying technical solutions, execution of technical tasks, creation of documentation (requirements, process maps, test plans, etc.), and communication with functional partners.
Make decisions related to vendor management, budgeting, negotiate contracts, and planning.
Support and troubleshoot high complexity and/or business impacting issues and assist other team members with lower complexity issues.
Support the work of more junior people on the broader team and communicates with functional partners or vendors related to assigned areas of work.
Considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and responsible for overseeing the execution of the authentication and authorization strategy.
Understand all aspects of system including how they interact with and/or impact other systems or business processes.
Influence the strategy of assigned systems and area of responsibility and expected to collaborate and build roadmaps with partners/stakeholders.
Accurately and confidently represent assigned system(s) to leadership teams and gain support for initiatives. Able to fully own the lifecycle of systems.
Influence functional partners and teams or peers and can contribute to broader discussions and procedures that are not specifically in assigned area of expertise (ie: task force, architecture forum, emerging technology).
May represent the organization to outside organizations or other forums.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
4+ years of related experience
Industry authentication and authorization systems experience
Self-starter who completes responsibilities with minimal supervision
