    Reconnaître et soulever des exceptions aux professionnels, Titres hypothécaires et/ou directeur adjoint en vue d'une résolution, le cas échéant.

    Au moins deux ans d'expérience administrative, de préférence dans le domaine des transferts de titres ou des valeurs mobilières, service de la comptabilité. Expérience en prêts hypothécaires ou en service des emprunts hypothécaires, un atout.

    Grand sens de l'organisation nécessaire pour suivre et surveiller le grand nombre de nouvelles émissions et de révisions contractuelles auxquelles on a fait face durant la comptabilité mensuelle.

    Capacité d'interagir avec tous les participants au programme de façon professionnelle, en étant bien renseigné et en fournissant des solutions aux contreparties administratives relativement à la disposition de fichiers, la modification de données et la résolution de problèmes/transmission à un échelon supérieur en vue de régler les problèmes.

    Critères obligatoires et souhaitables

    Expérience (ou formation) de niveau intermédiaire avec des applications informatiques comme le traitement de texte, Excel, Outlook et les systèmes internes.

    Cours de niveau post-secondaire en finances et en comptabilité obligatoire. Le Cours sur le commerce des valeurs mobilières au Canada, un atout.

    Expérience et/ou connaissance des titres hypothécaires et/ou des titres adossés à des créances hypothécaires commerciales, un atout.

    A Role You Will Love

    Reporting to the Assistant Manager, MBS, the incumbent is primarily responsible to facilitate daily activities of NHA Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) and related products such as Title Custodianship administered within the unit, while adhering to Governing documents, Product profiles, Audit guidelines and Internal policy and Procedures. The incumbent will provide assistance to MBS Professional to facilitate large volume and time sensitive new MBS issues, and ensure monthly accounting processes and payment mandates are facilitated within timelines to facilitate secondary market reporting of NHA MBS. Accurate record keeping and maintenance is also a requirement for the role, including the safekeeping of secure custody assets.

    Ability to work independently or with a group to set priorities for work based on volume, deadlines and processing schedules, recognizing, and raising exceptions to MBS Professionals and/or Assistant Manager for resolution where required.

    Minimum 2 years administrative experience, preferably in Stock transfer/securities industry, accounting department. Mortgage lending or servicing experience would be an asset.

    A high degree of organizational skills are necessary to track and monitor to completion large volume new issues and contractual edits encountered during monthly accounting

    Ability to interact with all Program participants in a professional and knowledgeable manner, providing solutions to administrative counterparties with respect to file layouts, data editing and resolving issues/escalating for resolution.

    What Will You Bring to The Role?

    Intermediate level experience (or training) on PC applications, such as word processing, Excel, Outlook, and in-house systems

    Post-secondary courses are required in Finance and Accounting. Canadian Securities Course would be an asset.

    Experience and/or knowledge of Mortgage-Backed Securities and/or Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities would be an asset.
