    Position summary

    h VMS/Linux software to join on a permanent full-time basis.

    As an Application Support Analyst, your main focus will be on maintaining the efficiency and reliability of the core system (Scrip) within the Oceania region. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering application functionalities and infrastructure changes to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Your role is essential in ensuring that all stakeholders are adequately supported to meet their strategic agendas.

    Joining a close-knit team that requires collaboration with all business units, direct clients, and other technology teams. This position will provide exposure to complex environments and interfaces through issue diagnosis, application analysis, processing of requirements, and some essential testing.

    This position requires that you are flexible with working hours and able to cover shifts on a rotating roster from 7am - 7pm with the 2 shifts being 7am - 3pm and 11am - 7pm. There will also be an on-call support component to this role with a rotating on call roster every 8 weeks.

    Some key responsibilities:

    • Provide technical mentoring and guidance to clients

    • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically

    • Resolve client issues in a timely and efficient manner

    • Liaise with development teams to resolve software issues

    • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention

    • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions

    • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates

    • Ensure all relevant processes, documents, checklists, and standards are adhered to in order to maximise quality

    • Suggest ways to improve existing processes and/or create additional ones to improve quality and efficiency

    • Redirect problems to an appropriate resource

    What will you bring to the role?

    • Extensive VMS/Linux/ Application knowledge

    • Relevant experience in the Financial/Share Registry sector

    • High degree of self-direction, initiative and motivation

    • Flexible approach to work, including hours

    • Able to work under pressure and set priorities and deliver to tight deadlines

    • Ability to work with demanding stakeholders and develop strong working relationships

    Desired skills and experience:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Understanding of ITIL framework

    • Dedication to deliver to deadlines

    • Lateral thinker, with a broad outlook, solution oriented

    • An ability to learn on the job
