    Key responsibilities

    • Define strategies for the Relationship Management (RM) team's efforts to identify, build and maintain proactive and positive relationships with clients, manage portfolios effectively, and build client trust in our capability to deliver.

    • Drive and support the RM team's efforts to proactively manage client actions, anticipate issues, implement solutions, targeting 100% client reference rates and increased Net Promoter Scores.

    • Identify and maximise upsell/ cross sell opportunities with oversight of the entire portfolio to ensure associated RM goals are achieved.

    • Develop and implement the Relationship Management Strategy, drawing on insight gained from client portfolio and industry knowledge.

    • Accountability for the team's adherence to governance and procedures to maintain compliance and regulatory responsibilities.

    • Collaborate with peers across business units, providing thought leadership and coaching as required.

    • Actively identify opportunities for efficiencies, solutions and synergies within the group and wider business.

    • Build and maintain external networks to gain insight in the market, to drive continuous improvement of the team.

    • Oversight of effective plans to ensure client contracts are in place, invoices are processed accurately and on time and client relationship database is accurately maintained.

    • Coaching, developing, and supporting the team to ensure performance levels.

    • Active engagement and networking within the industry and advisors, presenting as required.

    What will you bring to the role

    We're seeking a senior leader with a background of client facing experience and ideally in share plan administration within the Nordic region. This is a senior client‑facing leadership role, hence ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders across HR, Reward, Finance and C‑suite is required. You'll support growth through identifying upselling and new sales opportunities, management of escalations and bringing a commercial, solutions‑focused mindset.

    You will have demonstrable expertise in people leadership and the ability to articulate vision and strategy and influence senior colleagues. You will engage with multiple teams across various locations in the Plans business including wider Plans Operations, Product, Technology and Relationship Management, hence strong collaboration and communication skills are essential. We're looking for someone who is open, motivated and proactive. Someone who strives in high performance culture and enjoys building relationships and leading people.

    Other skills/requirements:

    • Previous experience within Relationship Management roles and building effective networks internally and externally.

    • Understanding of financial services and the wider socio-economic environment.

    • Significant line management and people leadership experience.

    • Extensive experience in Negotiation and end to end process from RFP to signature.

    • Experienced in public speaking and thought leadership.

    • Experience and background in share plans (legal and regulatory framework) would be highly advantageous.

    • You will be a highly numerate, with experience of designing costing plans, as well as strong risk management and project management experience.

    • Preferred experience and background in share plans, ideally Institute of Chartered Secretaries Association ICSA, Certified Equity Professional CEP (1,2 or 3)
