Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering process and system changes, consulting, and continuous improvement solutions for multiple external and internal clients.

Key responsibilities will include:
Managing end-to-end requirements gathering using appropriate techniques
Reviewing and challenging business requests to ensure an understanding of actual needs
Developing user stories, requirements, and specifications
Creating and revising user documentation
Ensuring all requirements align with delivering business value
Planning the appropriate business analysis approach based on project size and complexity
Conducting stakeholder analysis and managing stakeholder relationships
Presenting to project teams, user groups, and management for feedback
Identifying and communicating risks and issues
Providing guidance to the QA team on system testing
Managing projects or assisting project managers
Participating in solution design and helping implement solutions
Assisting in analysing and resolving production issues and providing comprehensive issue reporting.
Conducting client business process reviews.
What will you bring to the role?
You will be a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of the Utilities industry and have the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, who can work closely with the business to effectively deliver change. Working within projects or pushing through process improvements, you will be expected to hold all the skills necessary to service multiple work streams (including people, process and technology).
Key skills required include:
Strong Business Analyst skillset
A high level of logical thinking and problem solving incorporating excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated experience liaising with users to gather requirements, map the process and translate these into specifications or User Stories
Demonstratable experience in analysing client requirements to deliver Client's objectives and vision
Previous experience in adhering to business processes during technical development or change projects
Knowledge of utilities business processes, business rules and market transactions
Strong knowledge of the Customer Service and Customer Operations functions with a strong understanding of customer life cycles
Knowledge and understanding of developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships
Desired skills/experience:
Experience in the Utilities industry
Experience in Business Improvement Projects, Billing System implementations or digitisation projects
Experience in mapping processes and identifying improvement ideas for manually intensive processes
A Degree in Computing, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory
Certification as a Business Analyst practitioner is desirable but not mandatory
