    Position summary

    eam in Oslo as a Business Consultant to participate in all aspects of implementing clients for financial reporting and other projects using EquatePyramid, our market leading financial reporting software for equity compensation.

    The purpose of this position is primarily:

    • To understand the needs of clients and internal stakeholders, relating to financial reporting for share-based payment

    • To utilise EquatePyramid to present financial reporting solutions for our clients

    • To understand the needs of various stakeholders, related to financial reporting, and define and test the changes required to deliver solutions that address these needs

    Main responsibilities

    • Contribute to the successful implementation of share-based payment financial reporting solutions for clients, including:

      • Participation in workshops with client and internal stakeholders
      • Scoping and specification activities
      • Data analysis and reconciliation tasks
      • Understanding and application of share-based payment accounting treatment
      • Configuration of EquatePyramid
    • Develop and demonstrate expertise in financial reporting related to share-based payment

    • Draft software development and bug-fix requests for our in-house development team, coordinating input from client and internal stakeholders, including performance of quality assurance procedures

    • Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to: share knowledge and ideas, provide updates, influence, challenge and take on feedback

    What will you bring to the role?

    • Ability to successfully gather requirements and get results with minimal supervision

    • Project management and people skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships across teams and geographies

    • Self-motivation, using your own initiative to recommend innovative solutions

    • Attention to detail, taking a rigorous approach to problem solving

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • An organised and analytical approach, with a good understanding of operational processes

    • The desire to drive quality and efficiency improvements, challenging ways of working

    • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, industrial economics or related education/experience

    • Excellent Excel knowledge

    • Fluency in English, oral and written

    • Knowledge of accounting for share-based payment and deferred compensation under IFRS and USGAAP an advantage

    • Knowledge of equity compensation programs an advantage

    Candidates with working experience from accounting, audit or similar relevant experience are encouraged to apply
