    A role you will love

    As the Development Manager, you will report to the CIO, Shared Services and focus on the technology needs of the Shared Services function. You will ensure the CTS applications, infrastructure and services are viewed credibly and used to their fullest potential. You'll also deliver proactive engagement to the Shared Services function in all technology matters including their future strategies. You'll be the point of escalation for the business and work with relevant teams within technology to implement sustainable and scalable solutions. You'll also play an integral role in our Treasury Transformation program.

    To be successful in this role, you'll need to leverage strong communication skills as you liaise with the Shared services teams, Vendors and other Technology teams, and provide exposure to technology supporting the Shared Services functions and users globally. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of diverse stakeholders including vendors is a key requirement of this role.

    Other key responsibilities include:

    • Management of the Technology Portfolio and technology needs of the Shared Services functions

    • Stakeholder management across Shared Services, Vendors and Technology teams

    • Understanding the Shared Services Strategy and the technology requirements to support the strategy

    • Maintaining a technology roadmap that captures all major Technology initiatives which includes reviewing, prioritizing and tracking the roadmap regularly

    • Driving the resolution of incidents and defects

    • Producing a monthly executive report, tracking progress and identifying any issues or risks that have impacted the business during the period

    • Managing and providing ongoing updates on initiatives, inflight projects and support

    • Managing technology controllable costs and budget

    • Ensuring technology governance processes are followed across all initiatives

    What will you bring to the role?

    You have a strong customer focus, attention to detail, the ability to work effectively under pressure and have a proven ability to prioritize work when faced with conflicting deadlines. In addition to being a team player, you will be comfortable working autonomously. You also have a high degree of self-direction, initiative and motivation.

    You'll also bring:

    • Extensive experience in bridging the gap between the business and technology by translating business needs into prioritised IT requirements

    • Demonstrated ability to lead a team to consistently and proactively deliver against critical deadlines, working and adapting in dynamic situations

    • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to prioritise projects, taking into consideration resource constraints while managing stakeholder expectations

    • Experience working with external vendors and service providers

    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to resolve stakeholder issues

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify communication of highly complex concepts, ideas and issues to audiences with limited understanding on the subject matter

    • Experience managing tier 1 Finance technologies

    • Strong Finance domain knowledge

    • Strong people management skills and well-developed influencing skills

    • Proven ability to manage projects

    • A flexible approach to work, including hours, as this role supports our global client base
