onal Compliance Lead will comprise part of a small team of SME's who will liaise and collaborate with the Regional Facilities teams, as well as key business stakeholders, internal departmental stakeholders and external facilities providers.
Some key responsibilities:
Establish processes to monitor ESG data tracking and timely completion across regions, ensuring compliance with global ESG reporting requirements and frameworks.
Develop and maintain a global matrix of operational policies, procedures, playbooks, and standards for Facilities Management to support strong internal governance and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
Promote continuous improvement and best practice in facilities operations by fostering compliant, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery. Establish performance metrics and benchmarking tools to monitor and enhance operational outcomes.
Partner with Finance to implement a structured rental payment review process, enabling Facilities teams to manage invoice processing accurately, promptly, and in an auditable manner, alongside accurate provisioning for make good/dilapidations and depreciation, supporting financial transparency and long-term asset planning.
Enhance financial tracking mechanisms for project costs, enabling Facilities and Project Managers to maintain compliance and visibility across capital and operational expenditures.
Develop, improve and review global templates for real estate business cases, in collaboration with the Global Head of Facilities, Regional Heads of Facilities, and Facilities SMEs (e.g. Workplace Occupancy Analyst, Workplace Design Lead), to ensure consistency in format and content.
What will you bring to the role?
The post holder will be able to work in an autonomous post amongst a wider team split across different global regions. They will need to bring experience of devising and implementing governance protocols within alongside being an effective communicator, as collaboration with numerous stakeholders and departments in necessary.
Other key skills required for the role include:
Experience in a large corporate firm conducting compliance operations and governance. Knowledge of Facilities would be useful, but not essential.
Communicate and influence debate across small and large groups and develop a strong rapport with team members across the organisation.
Excellent understanding of developing policies and procedures as they relate to operation and compliance.
Externally, the role holder must be able to engage with property counterparts, to express Computershare's needs and gather feedback for further consideration.
An ability to resolve problems - able to probe for further information or a greater understanding of the problem and makes rational judgements from the available information and produces workable solutions to problems.
Self-starter with the confidence to shape and manage their own roadmap of short, mid, and long-term development.
