    Position summary

    A role you will love

    The role of the Mail Machine Operator performs mail enclosing processing in an ISO & Financial Communication Service environment focused on 100% accuracy in compliance with company service and risk management standards. This role is required to process with zero errors, operate and comply with privacy laws, ensure all correct inserts, no duplication of printouts and keep the machines running within strict quality controls. Any error may add to the cost of the business; therefore, strong attention to detail is paramount. The role must be able to interpret, communicate and follow written instructions at all levels of staff within CCS.

    Some of your key responsibilities will include:

    • Set up mail inserting equipment in accordance with job instructions.

    • Load correct components onto machine per job.

    • Perform regular and detailed quality checks on all components and finished envelopes to ensure quality standards are met.

    • Record/Reconcile daily work to meet our ISO standards and job instructions.

    • Ensure related procedures are followed within guidelines.

    • Escalate any non-conformance for jobs or schedule.

    • Perform basic machine maintenance in order to maintain proper machine performance.

    • Return unused materials back to the correct locations.

    • Ensures stock staging area is kept organized.

    • Folder, cutter, inkjet, sealer, electric pallet trucks and print machines.

    What will we need from you?

    High School Diploma or GED

    Ability to operate a mail machine in a highly digital environment.

    Strong attention to detail is required.

    Ability to read/interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

    Read, write and communicate in English.

    PC Skills

    Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing work environment.

    Ability to identify and communicate process improvement to supervisor.

    Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

    Minimum of six months experience as a swing arm Mail operator or 2 years' experience running production inserting equipment is preferred.
