    Position summary

    t. Regional Financial Controller will be a key business partner for other finance functions managing liquidity, capital flows and providing technical accounting input to complex transactions.

    Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will ensure a robust financial risk management framework is in place for the regional finance team, ensuring risks are fully understood, adequate controls are in place and that controls are operating effectively. Lastly you will be responsible for managing a small accounting team in the region.

    • Ensures integrity of regional numbers reported to Group on a monthly basis and Half-Year and Year-End reporting packs

    • Provides clear and robust guidance to regional teams and other stakeholders on accounting policies and treatments, including partnering with other finance functions when assessing complex transactions and ensuring all legal entity capital and liquidity requirements are met

    • Ensures all regional statutory accounts and regulatory reports are accurate and timely filed

    • Manages external audits and the relationship with external auditor

    • Maintains strong relationships with stakeholders including other Finance functions

    • Acts as a senior finance leader in the region, including local boards representation where applicable

    • Leads the regional Financial Control team, managing and developing team members

    • Leads and contributes to both regional and group-wide ad hoc projects including continuous improvements, group initiatives and participation in transformation or M&A activity where required

    What will you bring to the role?

    Required:

    • Post qualification experience in accounting and financial reporting

    • Experience in a financial controller role preferably in a global organisation

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting

    • Accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or local equivalent)

    Preferred:

    • Experience with Oracle ERP software
