Reporting to Development Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in delivering process and support system for multiple clients.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on a diverse range of initiatives and collaborate closely with members of the leadership team. Your contributions will have significant impact on your peers, the business and our valued clients.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Analysis and design of the RML application and its corresponding database to meet evolving business needs
Code, unit test, and implement changes aligned with business requirements to enhance application functionality
Provide on-call support for up to 10 weeks annually, ensuring smooth operation and timely resolution of issues
Ensure the application is maintained in accordance with industry standards and best practices, promoting reliability and efficiency
What will you bring to the role?
Experience in a Developer role
Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
A high level of logical thinking and problem solving incorporating excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess the ability to work under pressure, maintaining professionalism and a focus on quality
Preferred:
Experience in a Financial Services Organisation
Experience in COBOL, CICS and relational database technology (preferably Oracle) and SQL+
Experience with UNIX operating system and AIX in particular
