A role you will love
The Software Engineer will work within an Agile environment to develop and support applications across the Computershare portfolio as well as participate in complex technology initiatives including those that are with companywide impact.
Other Responsibilities Include:
Apply knowledge of standards, policies, best practice, and organizational structure so that you can work both independently and collaboratively within your team and with key stakeholders.
Provide informal guidance and share knowledge with colleagues to enable them to contribute to the team's objectives.
Identify and support improvements and innovation in technologies/practices within your team that would benefit the business e.g. efficiency in the software development process or improved customer experience.
Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to: share knowledge and ideas; provide updates; influence; challenge; and take on feedback.
What will you bring to the role?
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the following is required (Preference will be given to candidates with over 5 years):
o Java/J2EE development
o JAVA Web Services Development
o Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
o JPA
o Working in an agile environment
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the following:
o Git or GitHub
o Any of the following front-end technologies: JavaScript, JSON, CSS, JQuery, Ajax and HTML 5
Strong working experience of database development with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle or SQL Server including object development, performance tuning and trouble-shooting
Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
Collaborates and communicates well, builds great working relationships, influences others, challenges effectively and responds well to challenge from others, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.

Compensation. The base salary range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.
Minnesota: $83,000 - $117,000 per year USD.
North Carolina: $79,000 - $111,000 per year USD.
Maryland: $87,000 - $123,000 per year USD.
