    A role you will love

    In this role, you'll be responsible for multiple components of the billing process. This will include performing oversight tasks for our major Technology Vendors with a focus on Cloud providers. You will also support the Head of Technology Financial Management with analytical and decision-making functions. Your participation will be key in business transitions, process improvement initiatives, and mentor associates on the overall billing processes.

    Other key responsibilities include:

    • Analysing all files received from vendors, systems, and Client Relationship managers that are prepared by our Technology providers prior to uploading to system to ensure items are billable at the agreed rates and expected volumes within acceptable tolerance level

    • Interpretation and understanding of the most complex billing procedures

    • Providing effective and clear communication to various parties on our billing processes

    • Quality checking invoices and files prepared by vendors to ensure the timely delivery and payment of all invoices

    • Participating in various projects and process initiatives

    • Managing compliance with Computershare's (CPU) global policies, procedures and processes

    • Specializing in Cloud Providers (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) to ensure we are leveraging all pricing programs and products that result in the most cost-effective solution

    • Comparing providers to identify opportunities for cost savings

    • Gaining cross functional knowledge across the entire CTO Financial Management Team

    • Being a facilitator for change, including identifying enhancement opportunities and challenging the status quo, to improve the operation of the CPU Billing function

    What will you bring to the role?

    You are a strong communicator who is very results oriented. You enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems and recommending the best solutions. You are also skilled with identifying process initiatives and systems enhancements and at finding efficiencies to best streamline the key work that we do.

    You'll also bring:

    • Strong billing experience, preferably with a focus on Technology providers

    • Prior quality control experience

    • Experience participating in projects and process initiatives

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

    Bonus points if you have:

    • Experience with process ownership and driving those forward

    • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI and/or other BI Tools for Reporting

    • Billing experience with a focus on Cloud Providers
