As such, the role requires influence with matrixed groups across the globe.
The International Head of People advises senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development, culture, and process-oriented perspectives. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving. This role requires approximately 25% travel.

Strategic partnership and alignment:
This role will be the People Business Partner (PBP) for our Chief International Officer, which includes employees from all functional teams across the organization and employees in EMEA, APJ, and India.
Build partnerships across the organization to formulate the human capital strategy that drives the strategic objectives of the entire International (defined as EMEA, APJ and India) employee base, including application of the EMEA region.
Thought leadership:
Analyze EMEA regional trends and metrics in partnership with the broader People Organization to develop solutions, programs, and policies to improve the People Organization's contribution to Cornerstone's goals.
Organizational Design:
Provide guidance and input on the EMEA region restructurings, workforce planning, work process flow, roles and responsibilities, organizational planning, etc.
Organizational Effectiveness:
Partner with both the International Leadership Team and People Organization to assess and effectively address needs in areas such as organizational design, performance management, compensation, career, competency, and leadership development.
Assess and anticipate employee related needs and communicate those needs to the International Leadership Team.
Develop and integrate solutions to address the people objectives while maintaining focus on the International Leadership Team's goals.
Actively support discussions to break down silos across the organization.
Lead the PAT while maximizing and utilizing the experience and skillset of the team members to engage with the business and solve problems.
Employee Relations:
Work closely with management, employees, and the PBA team to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Support the PBA team as needed to ensure effective, thorough, and objective investigations are completed.
Understand themes and hot spot areas working in conjunction with PBA teams to course correct as needed.
Process Improvement:
Actively identify People gaps within the client organization and propose and implement changes necessary to appropriately address the risk(s).
Manage complex people projects cross-functionally.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, appropriately reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Collaborate with the legal department as needed/required.
Provide People policy guidance and interpretation.
