    Position summary

    s technology strategy.

    • Own delivery commitments for your team,ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with highquality.

    • Establish and enforce engineering bestpractices including code reviews, design reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CDpractices.

    • Collaborate with Product Management, UX,QA, and other engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize backlogs,and plan sprints/releases.

    • Identify and resolve technical debt,performance bottlenecks, and system reliability issues proactively.

    • Drive adoption of modern developmentpractices, tools, and frameworks to improve team productivity and codequality.

    • Manage production incidents, root causeanalysis, and implement preventive measures to ensure system stability anduptime.

    PeopleManagement & Team Building

    • Recruit,hire, and onboard top engineering talent to build and grow the team.

    • Conduct regular 1:1s, provide continuousfeedback, and lead performance reviews for direct reports.

    • Define career development plans, set goals,and mentor engineers to help them grow technically and professionally.

    • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, andhigh-accountability team culture that encourages innovation and ownership.

    • Identify skill gaps within the team andcreate training and development opportunities to address them.

    • Manageresource allocation, capacity planning, and workload distribution acrossprojects and priorities.

    Strategy& Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner withsenior leadership and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and long-termengineering strategy.

    • Provide regular status updates, riskassessments, and progress reports to leadership and cross-functionalstakeholders.

    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies,tools, and platforms to drive engineering efficiency and innovation.

    • Drive process improvements across theengineering organization, including Agile/Scrum practices, estimation, anddelivery workflows.

    • Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructureteams to ensure robust deployment pipelines, monitoring, and operationalexcellence.

    • Represent the engineering team incross-functional planning sessions, architecture reviews, and organizationalinitiatives.

    You've Got What It Takes If You Have...

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor'sor Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relatedfield, or equivalent practical experience.

    • 5+ years of software engineering experiencewith at least 3+ years in a people management or engineering leadership role.

    • Proven track record of leading teams thathave successfully delivered complex software products at scale.

    TechnicalExpertise

    • Strongfoundation in software engineering principles, system design, and distributedsystems architecture.

    • Hands-on experience with one or more of thefollowing: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.

    • Deep understanding of cloud platforms, microservicesarchitecture, and API design patterns.

    • Solid knowledge of databases (SQL andNoSQL), caching strategies, and data modeling.

    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines,containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-codepractices.

    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesand project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).

    • Understanding of security best practices,performance optimization, and scalability patterns.

    Leadership& Soft Skills

    • Excellentcommunication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to bothengineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Strong problem-solving and decision-makingabilities with a bias toward action and results.

    • Demonstrated ability to attract, retain,and develop high-performing engineering talent.

    • Experience managing competing priorities,navigating ambiguity, and making trade-off decisions under constraints.

    • Collaborative mindset with the ability toinfluence and align cross-functional teams toward shared goals.

    • Strongsense of ownership and accountability for team outcomes and deliverycommitments.

    • Experiencein SaaS/enterprise product development environments.

    • Exposure to AI/ML technologies and theirintegration into product offerings.

    • Experience with large-scale systemmigrations, platform modernization, or greenfield product builds.

    • Familiarity with talent management, HR tech, or learning management domains.
