Position summary
as a practicing lawyer with experience in an in-house setting (SaaS or other tech company is strongly preferred).
- Extensive professional experience in negotiating procurement contracts, ideally internationally, with excellent communication, negotiation, and contract drafting skills.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, high-growth, high-volume environment, including the ability to manage and prioritize competing tasks without sacrificing quality, attention to detail, accuracy, or timeliness.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to consider flexible and creative solutions, sometimes in the face of unknowns.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and execution skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to collaborate and build positive relationships with colleagues within the Legal team as well as with other internal stakeholders.
- Experience in understanding and navigating privacy, security, and AI considerations in procurement.
- Commitment to work North America time zone hours.
- Fluency and proficiency in written and spoken English.
