    Position summary

    • Develop solutions per Cornerstone's coding standards and best practices, incorporating feedback from the technical lead based in the US to continuously improve the quality of work.

    • Develop, enhance, debug, support, analyze, maintain, and test new and existing Salesforce functionality, including Sales Cloud, Services Cloud, managed apps, and connected applications.

    • Participate in key phases of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including solution design, configuration, code development, testing, and deployment, with a focus on Service Ops functionality within the Services Cloud.

    • Translate business requirements into solution design, develop design options & recommendations, review design and code, and manage issues and risks within both Sales Cloud and Services Cloud.

    • Build functionality to improve performance, security, scalability, and reliability of Cornerstone's Salesforce platform, with a focus on improving Service Ops processes and Services Cloud performance.

    • Ensure best practices are followed for integration, application development, deployment, data integrity, and ongoing enhancements within both Sales Cloud and Services Cloud.

    • Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, data issues, and inconsistencies to enhance operational efficiencies in the Service Ops domain.

    • Improve and evolve the Salesforce Lightning Platform, focusing on enhancing user experience and performance, particularly for Service Cloud users.

    • Take ownership of escalated or complex issues, particularly related to Services Cloud, and follow through to resolution.

    • Collaborate with, mentor, and guide development teams on delivering quality code and test classes, with a special focus on mentoring others in Services Cloud capabilities.

    • Lead key phases of the Salesforce development lifecycle, from design to deployment, with a strong emphasis on Service Ops and Services Cloud.

    • Drive down technical debt by implementing best practices, updating legacy code, and rebuilding functionality to improve performance, security, scalability, and reliability across both Sales Cloud and Services Cloud.

    • Improve deployment processes and support continuous integration, postproduction operations, and sandbox management in Services Cloud and other Salesforce platforms.

    • Continuously learn and innovate, staying ahead of the latest technologies and contributing to the enhancement of the Services Cloud and other Salesforce platforms.

    You have what it takes if you have...

    • 5-6 years of development experience; at least 5 years of experience in writing Apex code and triggers, VF pages, Lightning Web components, SOQL, SOSL, etc.
    • At least 5 years of experience in configuring, customizing, and building scalable solutions, particularly for Services Cloud and sales processes for large organizations.
    • A proven track record of building solutions on Sales Cloud and Services Cloud.
    • Familiarity with lead flows, case management, service automation, customer service workflows, conversion and assignment, account management, and opportunity management.
    • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Services Cloud, and related applications and tools such as Marketo, Clari, LeanData, Gong, Outreach, and Xactly.
    • Knowledge of developing and deploying solutions using Salesforce Lightning, particularly in Services Cloud (Lightning Design System/Lightning App Builder/Lightning Web Components).
    • Experience in Core Java, different open-source frameworks, SOA-based SOAP/Rest Web Services, with exposure to web application development, and deep understanding of web technologies such as CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, and Ajax. Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular is a plus.
    • Experience in leading technical requirements gathering and building scalable solutions from those requirements across Sales Cloud and Services Cloud.
    • Expertise with development tools such as Force.com IDE, Illuminated Cloud, Ant migration tool, Github, etc.
    • Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum and continuous integration environments (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.), specifically within Services Cloud environments.
    • Expert-level understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies, especially in complex Salesforce environments including Services Cloud.
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & Platform Developer II certifications are essential.
    • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural development and testing team, internal and external resources, including offshore teams.
    • Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
    • Deep technical experience in all capabilities and functionalities of the Salesforce.com platform, especially Sales Cloud and Services Cloud, with a proven track record of driving best practices and processes.
    • Strong understanding and experience with Apex, Batch Apex, Controllers, Triggers, Visualforce, REST, Workflows, Process Builders, Validation Rules, Lighting Web Components, Governor Limits, and Salesforce security models, particularly within Services Cloud.
    • Experience with CPQ & quote-to-cash processes in a SaaS / recurring revenue company is a big plus.
