The Impact of a Supplier Services Technical Lead at Coupa:
We are looking for highly energetic and driven customer champions to work on the Supplier Success team. The supplier success team is responsible for supporting our Coupa customers through their supplier enablement journey from analysis, strategy building, and enablement execution. This role will help our customers get the most out of their Coupa investment by driving enablement activities with suppliers. Ideal candidates would have prior experience in a customer facing role, comfortable reviewing and presenting data to drive decisions, managing multiple projects at once, and connecting suppliers via technical enablement methods. What You'll Do:
Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the supplier enablement functional area with a strong understanding of the source-to-pay process
Provide supplier enablement mentoring consultancy to customers, helping them embed the knowledge gained from reporting and analysis and furthering their knowledge through training on supplier enablement activities
Provide technical and functional expertise related to supplier enablement during the implementation
Help customers focus on their goals and drive the implementation towards a successful, on-time implementation
Work with the Coupa engagement managers and partners on Coupa implementations in designing the optimal supplier enablement solution design that will enable customers to successfully realize the value of their Coupa deployment
Develop and maintain supplier enablement Best Practices/Methodology, working closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure Best Practices/Methodology remain relevant with each product release
Develop supplier enablement implementation best practices within your areas of expertise and be a champion for their adoption
Collaborate with supplier enablement documentation, training, and product management teams internally within your area of expertise. Engage customers in enlightened business needs discussions versus feature/function basics
Provide a strong technical understanding of our product with the ability to discuss how supplier enablement relates to the full Coupa platform and how best to configure their system to supplier enablement goals, including how it relates to payments
Create and/or improve supplier enablement implementation templates, training, and presentations.
Follow Coupa implementation methodology for all customers and tailor to meet each customer's unique business needs
Share relevant prior supplier enablement experiences with customers and colleagues
Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off the client site
Up to 15% of your time may include travel
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
English & Spanish speaking
5+ years' experience with systems delivery, with emphasis on supplier enablement focus areas.
5+ years' of consulting experience and/or forward-facing customer experience preferred
5+ years' experience and hands-on knowledge of supplier enablement methodology and ability to support technical supplier enablement methods (ie. cXML, EDI, CSV)
Experience with Software as a Service is a must
Extremely strong client management skills and be able to work with customers to execute an implementation plan that works towards a rapid, successful go-live
Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate effectively at different levels of the customer organization
Advanced MS Excel Skills
Business Process Experience with a focus in the supplier enablement space and an analytical mindset and approach for solving problems
Strong understanding of procure-to-pay business process
Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight timelines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A curious mind constantly seeking out new knowledge and specialist skills outside your own area of expertise, as appropriate to the project
Preferred But Not Required:
Excellent customer / partner communications skills
Seen by constituents as a Team player who is customer centric, with excellent networking skills and an ability to effectively build business relationships

Highly organized and flexible individual, with the ability to work on multiple projects implementing a spectrum of supplier enablement projects (as best suited to the project and customer)
Willingness to travel periodically to client sites
Portuguese language skills
