The impact of Contract Specialist at Coupa.
As a Contract Specialist, play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and risk mitigation by managing the full contract lifecycle-from initial request through execution-using Coupa's CLM and Salesforce platforms. Ensure all contracts, including Statements of Work and Change Orders, are accurately drafted, compliant with internal policies, and aligned with stakeholder needs. By collaborating cross-functionally with CSPs, the SOW Desk, and other internal teams, and help tailor contract terms to support business goals while safeguarding organizational interests.
What You'll Do:
Contract Review and Drafting: Statements of Work and Change Orders.
Contract Management: Managing the contract lifecycle, from initial request to execution, ensuring all relevant information is captured and tracked within Salesforce and Coupa's contract management system (CLM).
Compliance: Ensuring contracts comply with internal policies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with CSP's, SOW Desk, and other teams to understand customer needs and ensure contract terms meet those needs.
System Optimization: Utilizing Salesforce and Coupa's CLM capabilities to improve contract processes, manage risk, and enhance efficiency.
Training and Support: Providing training and support to internal teams on contract-related processes and best practices.
What You'll Bring To Coupa:
Experience: Typically requires 2-3 years in a contracts or sales support role.
Coupa Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce and the Coupa platform and its contract management features is highly valued.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with various stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze pricing and contract language and identify potential risks and issues.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for ensuring accuracy in contract drafting and management.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to customer success are also important.
