The Impact of a Customer Value Director, Supply Chain Design & Planning at Coupa:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Design & Planning Customer Value Director to lead a portfolio of named customers across different industries and customer segments in North America. In this role, you will be the primary customer-facing advocate, responsible for developing and driving customer value journeys, partnering with customers to develop their Supply Chain Design & Planning (SCDP) initiative roadmaps and journeys to accomplish them. You will plan and lead regular value reviews and check-ins to ensure alignment and continually increase adoption. You will use a strong executive presence and a deep understanding of SCDP to advise customers on how to transform their supply chains, creating long-term value.
Customer Value Directors represent the primary point of contact between Coupa and our customers. As a trusted partner, you will drive customer value by building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders and customer leaders. You will also work with, coach, and advise customer teams to drive success strategies and mutual goals. In addition, you will collaborate directly with pre-sales, post-sales, product, and other internal teams, while also gaining exposure to different customer industries.
As a Customer Value Director, you will advance the Customer Value Management practice at Coupa by owning one or more functional improvement initiatives, formally or informally mentoring team members, and serve as a thought leader for supply chain design in industry.
What You'll Do:
Facilitate workshops with named customers to align on goals and develop initiative roadmaps and enablement plans to achieve these goals. Track progress on these goals and plans through regular business reviews.
Lead monthly customer check-ins to maintain alignment and update customers on product enhancements, events, and to recruit customers to events and to participate in advocacy activities.
Plan and execute in-person user groups to build the customer community
Onboard new customers, leveraging your expertise in SCDP to assist them in developing their success metrics and value journeys.
Serve as a trusted advisor to your customers and deliver an exceptional customer experience while advocating for your customers within Coupa on their behalf and coordinate the right resources for your customers at the right time.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
Overall 10 years of experience out of which at least 5 years in supply chain design and/or planning domain expertise. Preference for direct experience in LLamasoft/Coupa SCDP or similar technologies.
Preferred candidates will have customer / client management experience, either via consulting/BPO experience or from supply chain SaaS software/solutions
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain executive relationships and incorporate associated influencing strategies
Project management skills, including managing disparate, cross-functional teams across internal, customer and 3rd party teams.
Minimum Bachelor's degree required - Master's degree is preferred
Flexibility to travel up to 50%
The estimated base range is $155,000 - $175,000 + eligibility for commission with an estimated pay mix of 80/20
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
