    The Impact of a Technical Architect at Coupa:

    As a Technical Architect at Coupa, you will collaborate with our Customers, Partners and internal Product Management teams to implement cutting-edge solutions for our customers. Your expertise and experience will be crucial in integrating technologies into the Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or AP Automation domains, enabling our teams to manage the successful delivery of integration projects at Coupa effectively.

    What You'll Do:

    • Serve as a Technical Architect (TA) during customer implementations, driving adoption, quantifying value, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

    • Collaborate with senior management teams to influence strategies, decisions, and the impact of Coupa implementations.

    • Enhance customer experience by providing insights, handling customer requests, and addressing complaints through product support.

    • Manage escalations and work with project managers to meet project timelines and quality standards.

    • Mentor new TAs and partners, leading specialized Customer Success initiatives and applying best practices to influence strategy and design.

    What You Will Bring to Coupa:

    • Self-starter with experience at scale, focused on the value of technical services in delivering customer success.

    • 2+ years of experience in integration technologies for customer success in Procurement/AP Automation

    • Hands-on experience architecting large-scale integrations with ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, ORACLE, Netsuite) and working with integration technologies like sFTP, RESTful APIs, and SOAP.

    • Experience in Finance and Procurement functional areas (e.g., Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable, Expenses) and ERP integration domain knowledge.

    • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish, with familiarity in AWS or other cloud hosting stacks and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).

    Preferred But Not Required

    • Proven hands on experience integrating with external supplier systems using standards like EDI, cXML etc

    • Middleware Experience - IBM / TIBCO / SAP PI PO / ORACLE / Boomi

    • Programming Language Experience - Ruby / Java / .NET

    • Proficient with SQL and fundamental relational database concepts
