    Position summary

    'll do**

    Advises client stakeholders on how to efficiently acquire, fund, and pay for cloud computing services. Performs cloud financial oversight informed by industry best practices. Monitors service consumption levels, forecasts customer funding needs, and communicates proactively with customers to help them avoid lapses in service. Develops, implements, and documents repeatable procedures and checklists. The candidate should demonstrate success coordinating stakeholders with varied subject matter backgrounds, explaining concepts in plain terms, and guiding customers toward clear, measurable goals. This team member is client-facing full time and will routinely interact with government and contractor stakeholders external to the immediate client organization.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Monitor written cloud customer financial inquiries daily and respond with concise recommendations in a timely manner.
      • Check in with customers proactively when they have approaching deadlines or outstanding action items.
      • Support cloud acquisition during customer onboarding in coordination with vendor and internal client stakeholders.
      • Refresh routine reports (e.g., biweekly, monthly) summarizing cloud service consumption rates, funding levels, and outstanding customer action items.
      • Assist customers in developing and submitting requests for cloud service funding.
      • Analyze cloud financial management processes and coordinate with diverse stakeholders to improve them, including client-external customers, Cloud vendors, government financial management and budget officers, acquisitions officers, and others.
      • Cross-train in select financial management operations (e.g., budgeting, spend planning, purchase requests) to provide occasional backup coverage.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree

    • Active Secret Clearance or above

    • 3+ years of experience with basic data interpretation skills (e.g., in Excel)

    • 3+ years' experience Analyzing financial management data (cloud setting preferred)

    • 2+ years' experience with financial management operations (e.g., budgeting, spend planning, purchase requests)

    • 1+ year of experience with Cloud Services and associated functions required for operations and management across the different cloud delivery models

    • Ability to estimate how long funding amounts will last, given historical consumption rates.

    Travel: This role requires 2 days per week onsite at the client site.
