Typically work both remotely and onsite in Washington, DC, as required by the client
Provide advice and consultation to customers of HR (employees) on some or all phases of the HR lifecycle while maintaining compliance with current standards
Recommend innovative methods and strategies to resolve problems, inefficiencies, or data integrity challenges while ensuring the integrity of actions taken
Develop presentations or write reports or summaries to answer specific questions and cover key topics upon request
Understand and present HR regulations, procedures, and systems, and prepare documentation, as needed, to substantiate decisions
Process personnel action requests through the use of various federal and agency-specific systems and platforms, applying decision logic to determine the correct nature of action code and processes steps to each
Assure that official case files are properly maintained with complete documentation to support recommended or final action
Conduct research and identify root causes of issues, understand how to solve the root cause and correct the issue
Engage with other team members, cross train in various areas of work, and work in collaboration to meet unified customer service expectations
Identify trends or repeated activities and suggest standard responses, templates, or automatable activities to your team lead
Review reports and dashboards to manage workload, addressing the highest priority work first and working within standard expectations; report any delays in expected completion timelines to your team lead for assistance

Qualifications
Required:
4 years of experience, of which 2 years are specifically with Human Resources serving a federal government HR organization
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required client Facility Access Clearance
Bachelor's degree required
Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clientsandindustries/sectorsyou serve
