Work you'll do/Responsibilities
As a Scrum Master, you will help lead the development, adoption, and implementation of the agile engineering framework . Ideal candidates will have a solution-focused mindset and the ability to collaborate as a team with technical and product leaders while also contributing independently. Candidates must be passionate about technology, demonstrate strong troubleshooting and research facilities, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Day to day job responsibilities may include:
Working with the project and client team s to f acilitate scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review and Demo, and Sprint Retrospective. Support Pl Planning and Scrum of Scrums.
Working with the scrum team, and internal / external stakeholders to remove blockers and impediments by coordinating with other Scrum Masters and teams, to influence and drive decision making, and support organizational project or product teams.
Monitor ing and track ing t eam metrics and tak ing appropriate actions .
Guiding the scrum team on how to best leverage agile practices and principles to deliver quality products and business value.
Document ing and monitoring team working agreements.
Understand ing the product(s) and technology your team(s) supports/uses
Strong communication and coordination skills are a must as you will be working directly with clients.
Communicat ing regularly with engagement leaders , project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
The candidate will be detail oriented and possess strong listening , verbal/written communication , interpersonal and problem-solving skill s .

Technical Knowledge and Experience
Required
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
At least 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master
Understanding of the full software development life cycle in an AGILE development team
Strong communication , interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
History of success in engaging Business stakeholders and apt at Business engagement and requirement discovery
Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
A passion for ownership, planning, tracking, and organizing work
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred
Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, or other work item tracking tool
Experience with Web Application User Experience
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $106,833 to $187,425.
