mously to perform analysis and leads stakeholder interviews to elicit user requirements and convert them into technical specs to formulate analytics solutions
Leverages domain expertise and thought leadership to facilitate cross-functional stakeholder sessions to gain alignment and drives decision making towards desired business outcomes
Works independently with Data Architects, Data Engineers and Reporting Analysts to help design and validate technical design and implementation approach
Supports data analytics architecture that achieves data automation, reconciliation, traceability, and transparency to provide actionable, timely and accurate data to drive business insights
Conducts data wrangling, designing business models and storytelling through visualization to help find meaningful insights and communicate data results with an emphasis on answering the business questions
Leads end-to-end analytics solutions delivery across all phases (discovery to delivery) and drives change management and stakeholder communication
Partners with Project / Program Lead in delivering projects and assists in project management responsibility like - project plans, task planning and risk mitigation. Communicates plans, progress, goals, flags dependencies, and risks or other challenges to the team and stakeholders.
Organizes sprint planning and prioritizes development activities with scrum team. Creates and maintains feature backlogs, user stories, use cases, data/process flows, etc.
Builds deep stakeholder relationship by serving as a trusted advisor and keeping an enterprise-first focus
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with data management and analytics
Experience in a role requiring collaboration across multiple functions within a large, complex organization
Exhibits exceptional analytical, critical thinking, quantitative reasoning, and problem-solving skills with high attention to details and accuracy
Ability to distill complex concepts into easy-to-understand frameworks and presentations
Exhibits strong business acumen, ability to think strategically and build effective business partnerships
Exhibits Strong functional understanding of data and analytics architecture, platforms, and frameworks; including data modeling, data ingestion, data pipelines (ETL)
Expertise with business intelligence/analytics reporting and visualization tools such as BusinessObjects, Tableau, Power BI etc.
Exhibits strong SQL and data management skills to perform data analysis including data profiling and data quality checks.
Experience working with Scrum Agile methodology to deliver solutions is preferred
Experience in facilitating the discovery process with functional stakeholders to identify requirements and expected outcomes
Exhibits strong presentation skills. Should be comfortable with presenting to all levels of management
Uses storytelling techniques to effectively communicate analytical results and support business decisions
Possesses solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects concurrently
Ability to lead project teams in driving end to end activities to meet set milestones and provide necessary mentorship/ guidance for the team growth
A self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace and works well in cross-functional teams/projects
Exhibits excellent verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non-technical audiences
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 21. $80,500 - $174,300
