In this role, you will:
Collaborate with Core/IMS Network vendors to establish Core lab infrastructure in private and public cloud environments.
Integrate and deploy core network/IMS capabilities within the lab, both independently and as part of a team.
Translate requirements into system specifications, including end-to-end design, call flows, system architecture, and interface definitions.
Support the Testing team by providing input and assistance in creating and executing test plans.
Provide leadership in Core Testing, including live troubleshooting of network issues and debugging in lab or production environments.
Assist in identifying root causes of issues/defects and document them in JIRA systems.
Manage multiple tasks, collaborate across teams, and contribute to test automation efforts by writing testing scripts for testing tools such as Spirent Velocity and Keysight.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
As a successful Principal Lab Test Engineer, you will have:
BS or MS in Engineering or equivalent experience, with over 10 years of related work experience in the wireless industry.
Expertise in 4G EPC/5GC core, CUPS, and virtualized Network Functions, along with thorough understanding of Core Network architecture per 3GPP standards.
Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and deploying solutions in the EPC.
Proficiency in core network functions and extensive knowledge of end-to-end call flow scenarios.
Experience in troubleshooting technical support, including E911 call flows and interworking scenarios.
Familiarity with virtualized environments, scripting, test automation, and Core Network performance metrics.
Strong skills in communication, organization, problem-solving, and proficiency with productivity and database tools.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $203,725.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
