    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Cross-functional collaboration with Product Designers, Product Managers, Voice of the Customer, Research, and Brand Strategists to help customers understand how to make the most of their TV-viewing experience

    • Develop concise, easy-to-understand, and practical solutions that delight customers

    • Rapidly iterate alongside Designers, producing compelling and intuitive copywriting solutions for everything from low-fidelity wireframes through high-fidelity mockups and prototypes

    • Attend Design Reviews, contributing feedback that informs the overall user experience

    • Conduct user tests, research, surveys to capture and understand real users' motivations, goals, and pain points; and then help conduct research to evaluate how well your UX writing helps customers understand

    • Dig into qualitative insights and social media feedback to points of confusion for customers

    • Present your work to various stakeholders, explaining your creative process and how your final solutions align with the product goals

    • Conduct end-to-end audits of our current products and deliver improvements to our voice and tone that aligns with the overall Brand

    • Inform how our Brand voice comes to life in various ways in our product experience

    • Evangelize and advance great UX copywriting and customer-centricity throughout the organization

    • Collaborate with Marketing to develop a content strategy for our .com experiences that helps them find the TV package that's right for them

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    • 3+ years of UX Copywriting experience at consumer-focused product companies with a track record of shipping improved copywriting that demonstrably improved the user experience

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Strong writing and communication skills and clean command over information hierarchy

    • Ability to communicate creative decisions clearly and effectively across all functions and levels of the organization

    • Eagerly seeks out feedback, skill development, and opportunities to be coached

    • Experience driving the writing process end to end and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to discover the solutions that exceed user expectations

    • Sees customer problems as opportunities and obsesses over finding the best solution

    • Experience working within a product team focused on .com or app experiences

    • Online portfolio that shows clear copywriting that yielded results, strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills

    • Experience developing content strategy for a Video Consumption and/or Shop/Buy (e-commerce) experience a plus

    • Experience personally conducting user testing and research is a huge plus

    • Passion for digital video, streaming, and TV industries also a huge plus

    Salary Ranges

    Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
