The impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the Stock Dividends Team, the Senior Associate Team Lead will be accountable for ensuring that operational procedures are followed, and fundamental business and interpersonal skills are fostered among the staff. DTC's Stock Dividends Department announces, processes, and allocates various dividend and interest payments on behalf of its participants with securities in DTC custody. In addition, The Corporate Actions Senior Associate Team Lead will work with colleagues globally to ensure the seamless delivery of operations including collaboration on day-to-day completion of work as well as longer term projects and interactions outside of the specific department.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day activities of a designated team; ensure strict adherence to procedures and critical timeframes
Strong talent evaluator with a focus on development of others to perform and contribute to the organization by providing ongoing feedback and opportunities to learn through formal and informal methods
Effectively manage a diverse workforce; set development goals and hold team accountable to attain them
Lead performance management by developing and coaching the team
Identify and mitigates risk by having knowledge of department controls with the ability to spot key opportunities and identify root cause issues
Maintain a focus on meeting the needs/requests of our internal and external clients, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, resolving issues promptly
Understand and appropriately apply principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized business functions
Write/maintain procedures and job aids; identify procedure gaps and updates procedures to fill them
Demonstrate active engagement in meetings and display curiosity to learn and grow; accept feedback given and apply it to the role
Assist in benchmark tracking, audit follow-up, compliance, and risk management activities
Present information clearly while speaking in small to mid-sized groups
Participate and own team-impacting projects and initiatives

Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
