    Position summary

    offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).

    The impact you will have in this role:

    As part of the Communications and Marketing team, the Corporate Communications Associate Director is a key member of the Corporate Communications team of storytellers and lead in supporting the Chief Information Officer and the Information Technology department heads to develop and drive the organization's communications strategy as well as develop, refine, and advise on Board and internal committee messaging and presentations. Additionally, this individual should understand key objectives for an external audience, aligning with IT strategy, industry drivers, and DTCC corporate messaging. The incumbent should be highly proficient in distilling complex technical topics into meaningful business-centric updates that reflect DTCC's IT and corporate strategies. This individual will ensure that messaging is aligned with the company's mission, vision, values, priorities and culture, understanding the perspectives and priorities of the various Board and internal committees in order to drive effective communication strategies and tactics.

    Your Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provide counsel and guidance to partners on communication approaches while leveraging storytelling skills to ensure technical content is engaging and resonates with an audience that has varying degrees of technical proficiency.

    • Create and oversee a variety of employee-focused communications campaigns, tactics and messages that support communications strategies in engaging staff through cross-functional collaboration and achieve business goals.

    • Demonstrate keen ability to synthesize technical topics (e.g., software delivery, cloud, APIs, data and analytics tools, emerging technologies) and understand how it connects to broader business priorities to create meaningful messages and transform them into clear, business-friendly presentations.

    • Establish a strong rapport with Chief Information Officer and IT department leads to effectively draft, refine, and format department messaging and executive communications (talking points) that reflect their voice and priorities, including Board-level materials.

    • Partner with broader Corporate Communications team (PR, Client, and Executive Communications) to adapt internal messaging for external audiences, create engaging content including videos, client letters, social media posts, and other collateral.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 8 years of related experience

    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

    Talents Needed for Success:

    • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a writing, editorial or communications position, preferably in financial services and/or banking

    • Minimum of 7 years of related experience, including exceptional proficiency in writing and editing across multiple channels, a working knowledge of digital publishing platforms, and a keen eye in presenting and communicating to Boards and committees.

    • Masterful storytelling skills and demonstrated success with writing a wide range of communications across multiple channels, particularly with executives and external audiences

    The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
