    Position summary

    ers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).

    The Impact you will have in this role:
    The Infrastructure Developer will provide expertise to IT staff on how to create mature automated solutions using Infrastructure as code (IaC) and Software Development practices. They will maintain and develop new automated capabilities like IaC Pipelines, Shared Services/modules, and additional automated solutions in the team's portfolio. They will provide platform support for the automation tools ensuring stable and reliable platforms to execute automation. They will manage their work using agile practices and will use software development principles including version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
    Your Primary Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support the development and deployment of Infrastructure as Code.

    • Integrate controls and code scans into Infrastructure CI/CD pipelines to improve code quality, security, and increase developer efficiency.

    • Provide development guidance and code reviews to Infrastructure service owners as they automate their services following software development lifecycle practices.

    • Collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, and other team members to identify and implement efficient and reliable automated solutions using enterprise automation and configuration management tools.

    • Manage Automation Tools through their lifecycle with a focus on automating processes and tasks to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the platforms.

    • Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

    • Define and implement appropriate monitoring and alerting systems for timely identification and resolution of incidents.

    • Maintain and enhance the security of our infrastructure, applications, and systems, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

    • Provide On-call Weekly/Weekend off-hour L3-4 support on a rotational schedule with other team members.

    • Develop and maintain system documentation.

    • Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in DevSecOps and cybersecurity.

    • Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

    Talents Needed for Success:

    • Proven development experience in DevSecOps or a similar role.

    • Experience creating IaC with Ansible, Chef, or similar configuration management tools.

    • Proficiency in at least one programming language in example Python/Groovy/Bash.

    • Base foundational knowledge of Infrastructure services (network, storage, server, AWS) is required.

    • Experience managing and maintaining an Enterprise Automation Tool with growing user community.

    • Knowledge of software development, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.

    • Problem solving skills.
